Thank God for Elder John Hsu and auntie Doris for being so persistent in their work with the blog. I truly believe that it is helping the members of the church grow closer to God.
Thank God that once again His words today which reminds me of who He is. I really like these daily devotions since the Scriptures for each day is very short and concise. Although they are very short, from reading the sharing I am always amazed at how much there is to learn. There is always so much to reflect upon from the Scriptures. What I think God is trying to teach me from today's reading is that I should always think about how I should respond to circumstances in my life, especially when bad things happen. God is just and righteous and knows what He is doing. So is there something that I have done to deserve this? This makes me think about the Typhoon Morokot in Taiwan; how so many innocent people lost their lives. We have simply turned away from God and have chosen to take over the life that God has given us. Maybe He's just trying to get our attention and to get us back on track.
Thank God that my midterm today went fairly well. Although there were some things that I turned out bad, I still praise Him for it. We should not be changing according to different situations but we must remain in Christ who is never moving; our solid rock.
Please pray for the ministry Pass the Rock that I am a part of. Hope that through this basketball ministry, more people may come to know of Christ.
耶穌所行的神蹟，仔細去思考，每一次都提醒我，做基督徒的本份
看到這個病了38年的人得到醫治，心中為他高興不已，但是接著下來，又看到猶太人，用律法轄制他，令人心寒
在教會服事的我，要時時提醒自己，律法是要叫人得自由，最重要的是，要先以耶穌的愛，主動去關心需要的人
1. 首先要大大的感謝上帝，因為祂加添力量給我們在「台前」服事的同工，讓他們還持續顧守著這塊TRC的盼望與愛的園地，特別是翻譯同工，要有格外的心志與時間上的奉獻，願神就在他們翻譯的過程裡，親自紀念並祝福，帶給他們亮光與感動，讓他們體會到神話語更多﹑更豐富的奇妙與甘甜，因為「施比受更為有福」… 謝謝｡
2. 其次也懇求上主，保守我們這些「幕後」的跟隨(followers)同工，在輕省地享受台前同工的努力成果之餘，不忘繼續地為著我們的園地”灌水”和加油，一起協力與堅持，成為強有力的禱告大軍｡
3. 今天陳牧師的心得分享，為短短的18節經文下了很好的註解標題 ; 「主動關懷的耶穌」在「殘缺不全的人生」﹑「悲慘無望的命運」以及「無情殘忍的景象」之後出現，讓那位病了38年的社會邊緣人所等待的有了確據，也使他堅持守住的位置獲得了憐憫與保全｡ 耶穌，不只是那世代人的盼望，也是我們「現代人的希望」｡
4. 「那使我痊癒的對我說…」(v.11)，看到這節經文，覺得那位得醫治的人這樣的說法和反應，有兩種可能性，一是作為回應恩典的「見證」之詞，另一則是怕事推託的說法，但我以為兩者都有值得反省思索之處;或是正向﹑肯定﹑積極而毫不猶豫地見證恩典(真理)，又或是以規避﹑迂迴而模凝兩可的態度回應憐憫，對於宣稱為耶穌跟隨者的我們是很好的提醒｡
很后悔自己看到受苦的人們時，沒有多付出一點關愛。如果我無能為力，但起碼對他們笑一下也好，或許這一點點小動作還可以改變一些命運。請求主耶穌看顧需要幫助的人們，讓她們能觸摸到基督的偉大的愛，從中再次找到光明。阿門
From the reading today, I am challenged to be more like Jesus in the way He cared for other. To have a heart like Jesus, and to look to others' interest and needs in practical ways. It's not easy to live it consistently, but may the Lord give grace.
Jesus is always working. Like healing people,tell everyone to believe in God...So if we have something to say, just pray to Jesus.So I have to follow Jesus and do what he want me to do.
这个瘫子病了三十八年，比我的岁数还大了三倍多，我真的没法想象他在这池子旁等候医治的那三十八年是多么的漫长。我想可能就是因为他是个瘫子，主才亲自去医治他的疾病。
主医治这个瘫子，不是要把他放进池子里，乃是对他说：“起来，拿你的褥子走吧！”他就马上得了医治。
