From today's Scriptures, I am reminded of the kind of faith that I should have in God. From seeing the responses of the four different people, I should seek to act like the blind man did: being unafraid to testify about what God has done in my life. Very often we are afraid to step out and stand for justice. We then become like the parents, who try to avoid the situation and push their responsibilities elsewhere.
From a nonbelievers perspective it may seem as if believing in this religion will restrict their lives. It's like a set of rules of what you can do and what you can't do and they may not want to accept that. But what we must remember is that these laws that are recorded in the Bible are to protect us and to keep us on the right track. However, we should not be so focused on following the laws as the Pharisees did that we forget the purpose of it: joy, peace, love...
Pray that God may help all of us in our daily lives so that we may seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. If we are focused on Him, then the rest of the things in go in place.
