向所插的標來走

Scriptures: Philippians腓立比書3: 4-14

⁴ though I myself have reasons for such confidence. If anyone else thinks he has reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more: ⁵ circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee; ⁶ as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for legalistic righteousness, faultless.⁷ But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. ⁸ What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ ⁹ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. ¹⁰ I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, ¹¹ and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.¹² Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. ¹³ Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, ¹⁴ I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

⁴ 其 實 ， 我 也 可 以 靠 肉 體 ； 若 是 別 人 想 他 可 以 靠 肉 體 ， 我 更 可 以 靠 著 了 。 ⁵ 我 第 八 天 受 割 禮 ； 我 是 以 色 列 族 、 便 雅 憫 支 派 的 人 ， 是 希 伯 來 人 所 生 的 希 伯 來 人 。 就 律 法 說 ， 我 是 法 利 賽 人 ； ⁶ 就 熱 心 說 ， 我 是 逼 迫 教 會 的 ； 就 律 法 上 的 義 說 ， 我 是 無 可 指 摘 的 。 ⁷ 只 是 我 先 前 以 為 與 我 有 益 的 ， 我 現 在 因 基 督 都 當 作 有 損 的 。 ⁸ 不 但 如 此 ， 我 也 將 萬 事 當 作 有 損 的 ， 因 我 以 認 識 我 主 基 督 耶 穌 為 至 寶 。 我 為 他 已 經 丟 棄 萬 事 ， 看 作 糞 土 ， 為 要 得 著 基 督 ； ⁹ 並 且 得 以 在 他 裡 面 ， 不 是 有 自 己 因 律 法 而 得 的 義 ， 乃 是 有 信 基 督 的 義 ， 就 是 因 信 神 而 來 的 義 ， ¹⁰ 使 我 認 識 基 督 ， 曉 得 他 復 活 的 大 能 ， 並 且 曉 得 和 他 一 同 受 苦 ， 效 法 他 的 死 ， ¹¹ 或 者 我 也 得 以 從 死 裡 復 活 。 ¹² 這 不 是 說 我 已 經 得 著 了 ， 已 經 完 全 了 ； 我 乃 是 竭 力 追 求 ， 或 者 可 以 得 著 基 督 耶 穌 所 以 得 著 我 的 （ 或 作 ： 所 要 我 得 的 ） 。 ¹³ 弟 兄 們 ， 我 不 是 以 為 自 己 已 經 得 著 了 ； 我 只 有 一 件 事 ， 就 是 忘 記 背 後 ， 努 力 面 前 的 ， ¹⁴ 向 著 標 竿 直 跑 ， 要 得 神 在 基 督 耶 穌 裡 從 上 面 召 我 來 得 的 獎 賞 。

Sermon Outline: 講道大鋼

• Paul regards his Jewish background; his piety for the Law and his position in society (a respected Pharisee) as a matter of the flesh which he places no confidence.

保羅 - 認為他的猶太背景，他對律法的虔誠和社會地位（一位受人尊敬的法 利賽人），都是從不可信靠的肉體而來

• This matter of the flesh led him to persecute God’s church with a legalistic zeal that was unmatched by anyone else. He was the best of the best, self-described faultless, and self-righteous.

肉體一事導致他以法理積極迫害神的教會是別人無法比擬的。但就律法的義 而言，他是無可指責的。

• The point of transformation for Paul was on the road to Damascus where the Lord Jesus took hold of him in a vision (Acts: 9:3-5). This encounter with Christ helped him to realize that those ‘good’ things he had striven for were not gains at all, but was losses that bankrupted him.

• ‘Knowing Christ Jesus’ (v.8) becomes the new and ultimate goal by which Paul ‘press on to take hold of’ (v.12).

• This ‘knowing’ is more than simple knowledge of Jesus; it is a personal identification with Christ, with the power of his resurrection, the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, and becoming like him in his death and in his resurrection. (v.10-11)
