¹⁷ David took up this lament concerning Saul and his son Jonathan, ¹⁸ and he ordered that the people of Judah be taught this lament of the bow (it is written in the Book of Jashar):

¹⁹ “A gazelle lies slain on your heights, Israel.
How the mighty have fallen!

²⁰ “Tell it not in Gath,
proclaim it not in the streets of Ashkelon,
lest the daughters of the Philistines be glad,
lest the daughters of the uncircumcised rejoice.

²¹ “Mountains of Gilboa,
may you have neither dew nor rain,
may no showers fall on your terraced fields.
For there the shield of the mighty was despised,
the shield of Saul—no longer rubbed with oil.

²² “From the blood of the slain,
from the flesh of the mighty,
the bow of Jonathan did not turn back,
the sword of Saul did not return unsatisfied.
²³ Saul and Jonathan—
in life they were loved and admired,
and in death they were not parted.
They were swifter than eagles,
they were stronger than lions.

²⁴ “Daughters of Israel,
weep for Saul,
who clothed you in scarlet and finery,
who adorned your garments with ornaments of gold.

²⁵ “How the mighty have fallen in battle!
Jonathan lies slain on your heights.
²⁶ I grieve for you, Jonathan my brother;
you were very dear to me.
Your love for me was wonderful,
more wonderful than that of women.

²⁷ “How the mighty have fallen!
The weapons of war have perished!”

為教會

--為2011年度的主題「至於我和我家，我們必定事奉耶和華」 ( 約書亞24 : 15 )

-- 為2月12日在許嘉恩長老府上的社青聚會

--為2月12日台灣同鄉會農曆新年聚餐

--為2月20日和會的準備工作，和會手冊的檢查及印製

--為2月24日中會專案小組預定第二次探訪本會
--為2011年二月新任長執的選舉，長執候選人，

--為小會補推薦兩位執事候選人：柯少真、戴宗穎

--為全教會的奉獻能達到2011年的預算目標 ( 增加10% )

-- 為向市政府垃圾罰款一事上訴
--為教育組將進行的各項事工 :

‬1 . 鄭偉弟兄2月13日主講生活講座「上了年紀，怎樣吃最健康 ? 」

‬2. 2011年青年的學業, 家庭, 教會的服事

3 . 社青團契小組聚會方式及預定分組的計畫
 4 . 鼓勵全教會閱讀屬靈書刊
 5 . 能有更多的兄姊參加週二禱告會,一起從分享主題「生活與 神」得益處

--為2011年將要舉辦的全教會靈修會主題「愛我們的家」，講員陳明賢牧師、2月13日午餐募款及年輕人 
 音樂會募款的計畫與活動 .

-- 為3月20日新選出的長執就任；長執訓練會的籌備
